Board Issues Final Rule on Reg Y
In a press release, the Board announced its approval of a final rule modifying Regulation Y to allow bank holding companies engaged in permissible derivatives activities to transfer title to commodities underlying derivative contracts on an instantaneous, pass-through basis. The rule will become effective August 4, 2003.

Board Publishes Two Consumer Brochures in Spanish
In a recent press release, the Board announced that two consumer brochures--What You Should Know about Home Equity Lines of Credit and the Consumer Handbook on Adjustable Rate Mortgages--are now available in Spanish, in both print and electronic form.
