Board Announces Annual Adjustment of Fee-based Trigger for Additional Mortgage Loan Disclosures
In a recent press release , the Board announced that effective January 1, 2004, the the dollar amount that triggers additional disclosure requirements under the Truth in Lending Act for mortgage loans that bear rates or fees above a certain amount will increase to $499.

OFAC Updates List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons
The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) revised its list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDNs) to include the names of four Burmese financial entities. Additionally, OFAC revised its brochure on Burma (PDF) and the industry overviews for exporters/importers and the financial community.
