Board Proposes Amendments to Regulation DD; Requests Comments
In a press release, the Board announced proposed amendments to Regulation DD, which implements the Truth in Savings Act, and the regulation's official staff commentary regarding the information consumers receive about overdrawing their accounts. Comments are due within 60 days after publication in the Federal Register.

Agencies Issue Proposed Guidance on Overdraft Protection Programs
In a joint press release, the federal financial institution regulators issued proposed guidance to assist insured depository institutions in the responsible disclosure and administration of overdraft protection services. Comment is requested within 60 days of publication of the proposed guidance in the Federal Register.
