Banking Agencies Finalize Basel II Survey Documents
In a joint press release, the federal regulatory agencies announced survey materials for the fourth Quantitative Impact Study (QIS-4) and a related Loss Data Collection Exercise (LDCE) in preparation for the U.S. implementation of the Basel II Capital Framework.

Fed Publishes Consumer Guides on Check Processing Advances
Two new guides, Consumer Guide to Check 21 and Substitute Checks, and What You Should Know About Your Checks, are now available to assist consumers in understanding the changes associated with the significant recent changes in check processing activities. The brochures can also be mass produced by banks.
