Board Issues Amendments Addressing Overdraft Protection, Regulation DD
In a press release, the Board published final amendments to Regulation DD, which implements the Truth in Savings Act, and the regulation's official staff commentary to improve the uniformity and adequacy of information provided to consumers when they overdraw their deposit accounts. The final rule is effective July 6, 2005.

Governor Gramlich Resigns From Board
In a press release, the Board announced that Edward M. Gramlich submitted his resignation as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, effective August 31, 2005.
