Board Issues Senior Loan Officer Opinion Survey on Bank Lending Practices
The July 2005 Senior Loan Officer Opinion Survey on Bank Lending Practices addressed bank loans to businesses and households over the past three months. The survey also queried banks about their current holdings and recent originations and securitizations of nontraditional mortgage products.

Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Interagency Outreach Event Webcast
The federal banking and thrift agencies, along with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, are conducting a series of outreach events regarding the new BSA/AML Examination Manual. These events are provided for industry personnel responsible for their banking organizations' BSA/AML compliance program.

The August 22 outreach event, to be held in New York City, will be simulcast over the Internet. The webcast is open to all parties interested in BSA/AML compliance issues, but registration is required.
