SR 07-1: Interagency Guidance on Concentrations in Commercial Real Estate
On Dec. 6, 2006, the Federal Reserve and the other federal banking regulatory agencies issued interagency guidance on Concentrations in Commercial Real Estate Lending, Sound Risk Management Practices. SR 07-1 provides background, purpose and scope for the guidance, as well as implementation requirements.

Chairman Bernanke on Central Banking and Bank Supervision in the U.S.
In a speech at the Allied Social Science Association Annual Meeting in Chicago, Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke said that though the central bank's supervisory activity may overlap with that of other banking agencies, its work is vital to ensure economic stability.
