Northwestern Wins the 2008 District Competition
The Northwestern University College Fed Challenge Team faced down 26 other colleges and universities to win the District Championship on November 10.
The Northwestern team built on their 2007 success to best top competitior, the University of Iowa. The contestants faced a panel of six judges from the economic research and economic education areas of the Bank and answered questions both about monetary policy and the Federal Reserve system. As winners, they represented the Seventh District at the national competition in Washington, DC.
