Exciting events are just around the corner. Iowa, Quad Cities and Illinois will be kicking off Money Smart Week starting April 5 and 6. Check out the vast range of classes and seminars designed to help you better manage your money.

Look for these great events—and more—as Money Smart Week Iowa begins an event-filled week of personal financial education in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and the Quad Cities. With more than 150 free events, there's something for everyone—from investing for kids to first-time homebuyers and college financial planning to senior investment fraud.

On Friday, April 4 in Davenport, the Iowa Attorney General's office and AARP will host "Fight Back Against Fraud" at the CASI Center. Anyone is welcome to attend this consumer fraud education seminar from 10-11a.m. and pre-registration is requested at 877-926-8300.

On Saturday, April 5 in Des Moines, doors open for the statewide Money Smart Women's Conference at 8:00 a.m. at Drake University, where international expert on money management, Dara Duguay, will keynote. Last year saw a capacity crowd, so register early to ensure a seat. This event is free; pre-registration is required at WomenandMoneyConference.com.

In Cedar Rapids, a Home Buyer Seminar is offered from 11a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 5 at the Wells Fargo Bank, 4051 42nd St., NE.
