Biography
Nicholas Buchholz is a senior associate economist in the financial markets group of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. His duties include working closely with David Marshall, conducting economic and statistical analyses of financial markets data and providing analytical and operational support on FMG projects. Previously, Buchholz worked as an economic research assistant in the department of general internal medicine at the University of Chicago.
He holds a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Chicago, where he received a 2006 D. Gale Johnson Memorial Award for his senior thesis.
