Eleventh Annual Automotive Outlook Symposium


The eleventh annual Automotive Outlook Symposium was held June 3–4, 2004, at the Chicago Fed's Detroit Branch and drew industry analysts from vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and consulting firms. The Thursday session, co-sponsored by J.D. Power and Associates, was themed "Pricing and Profitability in the Age of Incentives." The Friday session featured presentations on the industry outlook from various perspectives. Additionally, 35 analysts contributed forecasts to the 2004–2005 consensus outlook.
