Mission Statement
The Research Department gathered and conducted research to inform Midwest decision makers on those regional policies that are critical to successful economic performance. In particular, we focused on surface transportation infrastructure serving North American trade; energy infrastructure and policy-especially electricity, gasoline, and natural gas; public infrastructure and its finance; re-development and revival of central cities, and work force resources and challenges.
