From Shoes to Stocks: An Update on an MSW Kid

Money Smart Week Kid Who would have thought that a request for MJ basketball shoes would be the beginning of Damon Williams' investment portfolio? Williams, the 2005 Money Smart Week Kid for Chicago, asked his mom for a pair of the popular shoes when he was 6. She said that he needed to own some of the company before he could own any of their shoes. So, at age 6, he bought his first share of stock and never looked back. Today he is a Morgan Park Academy student and is teaching other kids how to be money smart. Check out his interview with MoneyTrack TV.
