Money Smart Week Events in October
Our partners in Shawano County, Wisconsin will be holding Money Smart Week events on October 8 – 15, 2011. The classes, which are free and open to the public, will be engaging for people of all ages. In total, eight events are being presented on topics such as home sales, credit and financial wellness. This also includes a workshop for middle school students in grades six through eight that will focus on teaching kids entrepreneurship basics. What's the Latest with Money Smart Week Wisconsin?
In an effort to push for a nationwide Money Smart Week campaign, Wisconsin will no longer be hosting a full Money Smart Week in the fall. Instead, there will be a smaller fall promotion, with the full Money Smart Week taking place April 21 - April 28, 2012, in harmony with the rest of the states.
