Second Quarter Midwest Farmland Values Up From Last Year
According to the most recent AgLetter, Seventh District farmland values in the
second quarter of 2010 were 6 percent higher than a year ago. The value of “good” agricultural land in the second quarter of 2010 was unchanged from the first quarter.

On November 9, 2010, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will hold a conference to examine the intersections of Midwest agriculture and rural development. Details are forthcoming on this website and in the next issue of this publication.
