Midwest Manufacturing Output Falls Slightly in November
The Chicago Fed Midwest Manufacturing Index (CFMMI) fell 0.6% in November, to a
seasonally adjusted level of 112.1 (2002=100). The Federal Reserve Board’s industrial
production index for manufacturing (IPMFG) rose 0.4% in November. Regional output in
November was 3.0% higher than a year earlier, lower than the nation’s 4.1% increase.
