Report Suspicious/Fraudulent Activities

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has an anonymous hotline that employees and others may use to report fraud, theft or other financial wrongdoing by Reserve Bank employees or by persons or companies that do business or seek to do business with the Reserve Bank. The hotline telephone number is (888) 898-4091. You may also report suspected financial wrongdoing via the Internet. This hotline is not for reporting wrongdoing at banks or other financial companies that the Federal Reserve regulates.

Reportable fraudulent activities may involve, but are not limited to:

• Falsification of Bank records
• Improper destruction of Bank documents/information
• Submission of fraudulent bids to the Reserve Bank
• Intentional release of proprietary information
• Kickbacks
• Submission of fraudulent claims or invoices to the Reserve Bank
• Theft of goods/services
• Fraudulent payments
