When you think of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, you may think our work is limited to banking services and policy. We require a broad range of individuals and their talents to accomplish our purpose every day.
Administrative, Finance and Procurement Services
Our administrative services teams manage our financial services including budgeting, billing, vendor relations and receivables. They also work with our auditors to create our annual report.
Our staff of internal auditors review compliance to best practices for all departments in the bank and provide reports to both our Board of Directors and the Federal Reserve Board.
Our facilities team keeps our building running smoothly with its staff of carpenters, electricians, heating and cooling specialists and painter. The also provide workspace evaluation and redesign services.
Our legal team provides legal services to the Bank and its stakeholders. The areas of focus for the legal staff include bank law and regulation, corporate law, transactional law, marketing, intellectual property and litigation.
Our meeting services team coordinate everything it takes to host an event, whether it’s for 50 people or 500. They determine space needs and book the rooms, provide catering support and run the AV and video streaming services.
Our public affairs team handles our president’s speech schedule, serve as media contacts, write press releases and social media posts, manage our external website, offer graphic design and video services, provides outreach to legislative offices, offers business speakers to colleges and run our most important financial literacy efforts: the Money Museum, Money Smart Week and Fed Challenge.
