Linzie

Command Center Operator,
Law Enforcement Unit

  1. Where are you from? Chicago
  2. What is your educational background? I have a B.S. in criminal justice.
  3. When did you start at the Bank? 2013
  4. What do you do at the Bank?

I handle all the access control for the building and use the radio to communicate with officers and building staff. I receive all the 911, duress and Elevator Emergency calls for the bank. I can monitor about 500 cameras throughout the building’s interior and exterior. I use multiple security systems to log information, and answer all incoming calls to LEU.

  5. Why do you like working here? I love the environment and people I work with.
  6. Why would you recommend the Chicago Fed as a good place to work? Its location is easily accessible by many forms of public transportation. Having a law enforcement unit on site and going through a screening process in order to enter makes you feel safe. There are a wide variety of departments you wouldn’t normally expect, which gives you the opportunity for growth. The Fed also has great benefits such as tuition reimbursement, beautiful brand new cafeteria conveniently located in the building, and a 24 hour gym.
  7. What do you do in your free time? I love going to concerts and also the theater to watch movies. I’m also a huge TV show binge watcher on my many streaming subscriptions.
