I am the operations manager on the Treasury Market staff. Our staff is tasked with monitoring and executing transactions in the U.S. government securities market. I’m specifically responsible for ensuring that all operations that we conduct in the Treasury market are executed smoothly in an effective and efficient manner. This also includes contributing to our operational readiness and contingency initiatives related to our operations. I also help with policy work related to the Treasury portfolio and the execution strategy for Treasury market operations. Prior to this role, I worked on the Money Markets staff after completing the CMM training program.

  5. Why is the Chicago Fed a good place to work? I joined the Fed because I wanted to work in a challenging environment surrounded by smart people and it has proven to be exactly that. I enjoy the sense of purpose I feel coming into work every day and working towards a mission we all believe in.
  6. What are the attributes for someone who would be a good fit for the ChicagoFed? I think someone who cares about policy work as it relates to financial markets would find the work here valuable. Additionally, I think the Fed is a good fit for those who want to think critically about important issues and those that enjoy working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
  7. What do you do in your free time? I enjoy swimming, doing yoga, finding new vegetarian dishes to cook, crossword puzzles, and traveling — ideally a new country once or twice a year.
