Law Enforcement Officer,
Law Enforcement Unit

  1. Where are you from? Chicago
  2. What is your educational background? Hales Franciscan and Chicago State University.
  3. When did you start at the Bank? 1995
  4. What do you do at the Bank?

My main responsibility is to ensure and maintain the safety of all our employees and guests who enter the Fed. My job duties can vary from day-to-day. Some days I am responsible for opening the vaults in the morning for our Cash department or I am working outside at our dock area, screening contractors who are entering our building for various construction projects. You can usually find me in our lobby working the screening area greeting and helping our employees and guests get in and out.

  5. Why do you like working here? I can honestly say that in my 22 years working here at the Fed, I have established some great relationships that go far beyond work. Once you have worked so many years with people, you begin to feel like a family which makes for a great work environment.
  6. Why would you recommend the Chicago Fed as a good place to work? I would recommend the Chicago Fed because everyone here has a great deal of respect for one another and as I stated previously it's a family feel here so it makes it easier for employees to come to work and look forward to doing their job.
  7. What do you do in your free time? I like to play basketball and travel. I’m a big sports junkie and love to attend or watch sporting events with family and friends. When I can, I'm usually working on designing ideas for an upcoming T shirt business I'm hoping to start.
