Savings and Loan Holding Company Regulatory Reporting Seminar (FR Y-9SP)
The Financial Reporting Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will hold a training seminar on the preparation of the FR Y-9SP. On August 22, 2011, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors proposed a two-year phase in period for most SLHCs to file Federal Reserve Bank Holding Company (BHC) regulatory reports.
The FR Y-9SP, or Parent Company Only Financial Statements for Small BHCs, collects basic financial data from small domestic holding companies on a parent-only basis in the form of a balance sheet, an income statement, and a schedule for certain memoranda items. This report is filed by small BHCs. For purposes of this report, small BHCs are BHCs with total consolidated assets of less than $500 million. When such BHCs are tiered BHCs, each of the subsidiary BHCs file separate reports.
The FR Y-9SP is reported on a semiannual basis, as of the last calendar day of June and December.
The seminar will be held on Monday October 24, 2011, from 7:45 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Questions may be directed to us at financialreporting@chi.frb.org.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
