This year's conference will explore the changing shape of financial regulation.  Practitioners, regulators and industry observers will contribute their thoughts on what might be on the horizon. 

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago invites the submission of research and policy oriented papers for the 48th annual Conference on Bank Structure and Competition to be held May 9-11, 2012, at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Chicago. Since its inception, the goal of the conference has been to foster a dialogue on important public policy issues affecting the financial services industry. As in past years, the program will highlight a conference theme (to be announced), but will also feature sessions on an array of topical financial issues.
