I have an MBA in Finance.

  • When did you start at the Bank?

    2013

  • What do you do at the Bank?

I work in the payment system risk area, which establishes and administers the Board of Governors payment system risk policy, designed to address the risks that payment, clearing, settlement, and recording activities present to the financial system and to the Federal Reserve Banks. Through the Bank’s credit risk management framework, I support and provide recommendations to the risk management team in its mission to provide intraday credit to accounts at the Federal Reserve while maintaining a strong credit risk control environmental across the Bank.

  • I also work on cross-disciplinary Bank work groups designed for the analysis and recommendation of payment system risk policies and operational changes. Occasionally, I participate in the Federal Reserve Ambassador program. The Fed ambassadors represent the Chicago Fed in the Bank's Money Museum, conducting presentations, educating more than 15,000 students and visitors who tour the Bank's Money Museum. Lastly, I am the membership chair of The African American Association for Personal and Professional Growth, a network that provides members with information and facilitates conversations around current Chicago Fed diversity and inclusions efforts.

  • Why do you like working here?

The Fed is very diverse and knowledge based and gives me the opportunity to learn about the latest views on monetary policy, federal financial regulations, and other priorities for the Federal Reserve.

  • “As one with friends and family relatives in just about all corners of the world, this place equips me with confidence to carry on conversations around global economic themes and central banking initiatives or policies.”

Someone who possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff members at the other 11 Federal Reserve Systems.
