Nelda J. Connors is the founder, chairwoman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Pine Grove Holdings, LLC, a business operating growth-oriented manufacturing companies that offer original equipment, manufactured and remanufactured products and aftermarket services.
Connors was president and CEO of Atkore International until June 2011. Atkore, formerly the Electrical and Metal Products division of Tyco International, became a privately held company in December 2010. Connors served as the president of this Tyco division from 2008.
Prior to joining Tyco, Connors served as vice president at Eaton Corporation from 2002 where she held various operating and general management positions. Prior to Eaton, Connors was an executive in the automotive industry for Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, and Mogami Denki (a Toyota Motor Company supplier).
Connors began her career as a co-op at Monsanto Corporation. Connors is an independent director for Boston Scientific Corporation, a trustee for Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Connors previously served on the Board of Atkore International, Inc.
Connors holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton.
