Doug Martin

Co-owner, Martin Family Farms

Doug Martin is the co-owner of Martin Family Farms, based out of Mt. Pulaski, Illinois. He and his family operate a 6,000 acre corn and soybean farming operation in a four-county area of central Illinois. He also owns and operates Bluestem LLC, which is a tree and native grass planting business designed to implement plans on conservation reserve program acres. Martin is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, The Illinois Agriculture Leadership Program, and the Cultivating Master Farmer Program. He and his wife have four children and spend a lot of time with school activities. Martin has also been involved in several agricultural and community organizations, and is currently a director for the Logan County Soil and Water Conservation District, and president of the Mt. Pulaski CUD No. 23 School Board.
