Industrial Cities Initiative Symposium
The Community Development and Policy Studies (CDPS) Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has undertaken a new project that we call the Industrial Cities Initiative. With this Initiative, we will develop comprehensive community profiles of Midwestern industrial cities that include in-depth qualitative information and the best available quantitative analyses of the trends and issues impacting these communities. Through this Initiative, we hope to identify policies and programs that promote (or inhibit) economic growth and vitality in industrial cities.
