The Affordable Care Act and the Labor Market

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the Institute of Government and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois hosted a conference that brings together recent original research on the impact of the Affordable Care Act on various aspects of the American labor market, including effects on labor supply, wages and job mobility. The conference featured a panel discussion with David Card (Class of 1950 Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics of the University of California, Berkeley) and Jonathan Gruber (Professor in the Department of Economics of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
