Twelfth Annual Community Bankers Symposium
We are pleased to announce the twelfth Community Bankers Symposium hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency on Friday, November 17, 2017.
As in prior years, senior policymakers from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will be invited to participate at this event. Confirmed speakers include: Charles L. Evans, President and Chief Executive Officer, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago; Maryann Hunter, Deputy Director, Federal Reserve System Board of Governors; and Richard A. Brown, Chief Economist and Deputy Director for Regulatory Analysis, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Opening remarks will be provided by Charles L. Evans, President and Chief Executive Officer, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
The agenda for the Symposium will include a session on CECL, a panel comprised of Ombudsmen from the Regulatory Agencies, and a Consumer Compliance Regulatory panel. The conference will provide an opportunity for attendees to have a dialogue on areas of supervisory focus, the banking environment and regulatory updates.
