Fed Listens Perspectives from the Midwest

On Friday, May 9, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am CT, the Chicago Fed hosted Fed Listens: Perspectives from the Midwest, a panel discussion featuring local leaders who shared their insights about local economic conditions. This Fed Listens event was part of a series of conversations held across the Federal Reserve System to hear about how monetary policy affects people’s daily lives and livelihoods. This event was part of the Federal Reserve’s 2025 framework review—a review of its monetary policy strategy, tools, and communications.
