Chas Brown is a research assistant for the microeconomics team in the economic research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. He graduated from Princeton University with high honors, where he majored in economics. His senior thesis on an upzoning policy in Chicago received the Elizabeth Bogan Prize in Economics for the best thesis health, education, or welfare. His research interests include applied microeconomics, urban and spatial economics, and inequality.
