Christine Hammerlund is the president and chief executive officer of Assured Healthcare Staffing. A business operations expert and a successful entrepreneur, Hammerlund employs 70 people at her Gurnee, IL-based business. Prior to founding and growing Assured Healthcare Staffing, she managed the operations of a multimillion dollar segment of Manpower, Inc. business. The Professional Services Division, which encompassed healthcare, engineering, finance and technology, generated over $22M annually.
Hammerlund maintains her nursing license and is the subject matter expert for myriad of boards including: Advisory Board for College of Lake County School of Nursing, and Advisory Board at Dimensions Home Health; Workforce Investment Board and Health Professional Education Consortium. Hammerlund has been acknowledged locally and nationally as a leader who has garnered the following awards and recognition: 2014 Enterprising Women of the Year Finalist, 2013 Certificate of Appreciation, Northpointe Resources, 2011 Winner of Tuck-WBENC Executive Program Scholarship and recipient of the 2009 ATHENA PowerLink Award. She holds a National Women’s Business Enterprise Certification, and is an active volunteer and sponsor of multiple charitable organizations.
