About
Christopher Koopmans is a senior vice president in supervision and regulation at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and currently oversees enforcement, mergers, acquisitions, bank service provider supervision, financial market utility supervision, and cyber security supervision teams. Koopmans joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 2004 and has held various responsibilities and leadership roles throughout the supervision and regulation department, including evaluating firms for the Troubled Asset Repurchase Program (TARP), the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), as well as supervision of large, regional, and community banks.
Koopmans holds, with honors, an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in analytical finance and economics, and a B.A. from Hope College in economics.
