Survey Suggests Little Change in Growth in June
The Chicago Fed Survey of Economic Conditions (CFSEC) Activity Index decreased to –3 in June from –1 in May, suggesting that economic growth was near trend. The CFSEC Manufacturing Activity Index increased to +6 in June from –21 in May, but the CFSEC Nonmanufacturing Activity Index decreased to –9 in June from +13 in the previous month.
