The Chicago Fed Survey of Economic Conditions (CFSEC) Activity Index increased to +18 in June from +11 in May, suggesting that economic growth was above trend. The CFSEC Manufacturing Activity Index increased to +65 in June from +43 in May, but the CFSEC Nonmanufacturing Activity Index decreased to –9 in June from –7 in the previous month.
