Survey Suggests Little Change in Growth in March
The Chicago Fed Survey of Economic Conditions (CFSEC) Activity Index increased to +17 in March from +14 in February, suggesting that economic growth was above trend. The CFSEC Manufacturing Activity Index increased to +46 in March from +18 in February, but the CFSEC Nonmanufacturing Activity Index decreased to +2 in March from +10 in the previous month.
