Jacob Herbstman is a research assistant on the macroeconomics team in the economic research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. He graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2022 with a double major in economics and statistics and a minor in mathematics. His personal research interests lie in the fields of urban, health, and public economics.
