Abdoulaye (Abdou) Ndiaye is a research economist on the macroeconomics team in the economic research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. His main research interests are in macroeconomics and public finance. Starting in 2019, he will join the Stern School of Business at New York University as an assistant professor of economics.
Ndiaye received his Ph.D. in economics in 2018 from Northwestern University and his B.S. and M.S. in economics and finance from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris in 2013. During his undergraduate and graduate studies, he has worked as a research assistant at the United Nations, Harvard University and Princeton University.
