Household and Small Business Data: Hmong and Control
The Hmong Survey took place in 2000 in areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul with high concentrations of Hmong households and businesses.
A total of 202 Hmong households and 121 Hmong-owned small businesses were interviewed. In addition, control samples consisting of 202 non-Hmong households and 131 non-Hmong small businesses in the same neighborhoods were also interviewed. A team from the Federal Reserve Banks of Minneapolis and Chicago led the data collection efforts.
