Jung Sakong is an economist in the community development and policy studies division of the economic research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. His research focuses on household finance and wealth inequality.

Sakong received a BA in economics from Harvard University and a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
