Emma LaGuardia is a research assistant in the economic research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. LaGuardia is a 2022 alumna of Miami University (OH). She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in economics and Spanish and an M.A. in economics. Her research interests include labor economics, public economics, the economics of education, and economic history.
