Mark O'Dell

Community Development Policy and Engagement

Mark O'Dell is a senior research analyst in the community development and policy studies division of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. He has been with the Federal Reserve since 2015. His interests include understanding socioeconomic changes at the city and neighborhood level, collecting data in support of community-level economic inclusion, and presenting policy topics to policymakers and the public through quantitative data visualization.

O'Dell holds bachelor's degrees in mathematics and policy analysis from Indiana University. He received a master's degree in public policy from the University of Maryland.
