Mark O'Dell is a senior community development specialist on the community development team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. He has been with the Federal Reserve since 2015. He conducts research with a focus on understanding socioeconomic changes at the city and neighborhood level, collecting data in support of community-level economic inclusion, and presenting policy topics to policymakers and the public through quantitative data visualization.
O'Dell holds bachelor's degrees in mathematics and policy analysis from Indiana University. He received a master's degree in public policy from the University of Maryland.
