Nicolas Werquin

About

Nicolas Werquin is a senior economist in the research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. His research focuses on inequality and fiscal policy, and examines the optimal design and the political economy of redistributive tax systems. His work has been published in academic journals such as Econometrica and the American Economic Review. Before joining the Chicago Fed in May 2021, Nicolas was an Assistant Professor at the Toulouse School of Economics. He received his Ph.D. from Yale University.
