Midwest Manufacturing Output is Unchanged in December
The Chicago Fed Midwest Manufacturing Index (CFMMI) was unchanged in December,
maintaining a seasonally adjusted level of 112.4 (2002=100). The Federal Reserve Board’s
industrial production index for manufacturing (IPMFG) rose 0.2% in December. Regional
output in December was 3.4% higher than a year earlier, lower than the nation’s 4.1% increase.
