Midwest Economy Index, June 2012
Index Shows Midwest Economic Growth Slowed in June

The Midwest Economy Index (MEI) decreased to +0.21 in June from +0.53 in May, but indicated that Midwest economic growth was above its historical trend for the eighth consecutive month. Midwest growth also continued to outperform its historical deviation with respect to national growth, as the relative MEI edged up to +0.72 in June from +0.66 in May.
