Emily Engel is a policy and outreach coordination specialist on the regional research team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
Ms. Engel started her career in 2004 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago working in economic research (on the macroeconomics and regional teams). In 2009, she transitioned to an analyst position in supervision and regulation on the markets and liquidity team. Then, in 2011, she transitioned back into research in her current role, which includes support for the Seventh District contribution to the Small Business Survey. Additionally, Ms. Engel is an adjunct lecturer at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies.
Ms. Engel received undergraduate degree in mathematical methods in the social sciences from Northwestern University and her MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
